Softball Recap: Statesville Comes Up Short

Statesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the North Iredell Raiders, falling 15-0. The Greyhounds were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Statesville's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for North Iredell, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Statesville is set to take on their familiar foe Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Iredell will challenge rival St. Stephens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
