Volleyball Recap: Queen City Comes Up Short

Queen City lost against De Kalb back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Queen City took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Queen City's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for De Kalb, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Queen City is set to take on their familiar foe Liberty-Eylau at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, De Kalb will square off against rival New Boston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
