Baseball Recap: Quincy Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Quincy Notre Dame lost against Macomb back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders lost 9-2 to the Bombers. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Quincy Notre Dame saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abram Wiewel, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Quincy Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Macomb, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-13.

Quincy Notre Dame wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-6 victory against Quincy on the 16th. As for Macomb, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Beardstown on the 14th.
