Football Recap: Ray Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Ray extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jesse James. The Bearcats put the hurt on the Cicero Prep Academy Centurions with a sharp 52-28 win on Friday thanks in part to James, who threw for 209 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 76 yards and one score. He didn't just play on offense: he also made 13 total tackles (0.5 for loss) and defended two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions.

Another player making a difference was Chase Chester, who picked up 121 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 75 yards.

Ray didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut James.

Ray's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Cicero Prep Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

The future could be bright for both Ray and Cicero Prep Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Bearcats will try to hand Fort Thomas their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cicero Prep Academy will look to extend San Manuel's four-game losing streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
