Johnny Mayeresky Game Report: vs James Buchanan

For the first time in his career, Johnny Mayeresky scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 31 receiving yards and one score, helping propel Newport past James Buchanan by a score of 26-21. Our internal rating system judged Friday's effort as the best he's ever given (but hopefully not for long).

Coming up, Mayeresky and Newport will take on Camp Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mayeresky will face off against Owen Grove, the Lions' star wideout. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
