Basketball Recap: Dominican Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dominican can now relate to. They fell 73-65 to Carmen Northwest on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 91-87 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Dominican has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season. The victory was the sixth in a row for Carmen Northwest, bringing their record for this year to 18-9.

While Dominican had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
