Volleyball Recap: Redwood Takes a Loss

Redwood lost against Saint Francis back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Giants fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 3-2. The Giants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Redwood actually scored more points across those five sets (110-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 14-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Redwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Saint Francis, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Redwood is taking a road trip to square off against Windsor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Saint Francis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Branson at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
