Volleyball Game Preview: Righetti Warriors vs. Immanuel Eagles

Righetti is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Immanuel is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Warriors will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Righetti is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Reedley, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since April 14th.

Righetti wouldn't go down easily and took Reedley into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 19-25, 22-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Immanuel beat Hoover 3-1 on Tuesday.

Immanuel was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 18-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Righetti's victory bumped their record up to 22-13. As for Immanuel, their win bumped their record up to 27-10.

Righetti skirted past Immanuel 2-1 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
