Basketball Recap: West Shore Christian Academy Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

The matchup between West Shore Christian Academy and Greenwood on Saturday hardly resembled the 36-23 effort from their previous meeting. West Shore Christian Academy might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Greenwood Wildcats an easy 73-51 victory. That makes it the first time this season West Shore Christian Academy has let down their home crowd.

West Shore Christian Academy's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. As for Greenwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

West Shore Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dayspring Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Dayspring Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.9 points per game this season. As for Greenwood, they will be home for the holidays to greet Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Greenwood surely won't give up without a fight.
