Basketball Recap: Loyola College Prep Takes a Loss

Loyola College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 42-18 to the Lakeside Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Flyers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 1479th, while the Warriors are ranked 336th).

Loyola College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lakeside, with the win, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Loyola College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-9 defeat against Homer on the 19th. Lakeside has also already played their next matchup, a 56-28 loss against Mansfield on the 19th.
