Volleyball Recap: Matanzas Takes a Loss

Matanzas was the 2-0 winner over University Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Christians by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Matanzas' defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for University Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Looking ahead, Matanzas will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Father Lopez at 7:00 p.m. As for University Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Christ's Church Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
