Basketball Game Preview: Bravo Knights vs. Marshall Barristers

The Bravo Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Marshall Barristers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Bravo is looking for their season's first win.

On Wednesday, Bravo came up short against Franklin and fell 61-49.

Despite the loss, Bravo saw an underclassman step up: freshman Adrian Arriaga almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Arriaga has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ryan Gomez, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Marshall unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Eagle Rock, falling 68-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Barristers have suffered since November 16, 2024.

Bravo's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Marshall, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 14-5.

Bravo was dealt a bruising 86-56 loss at the hands of Marshall in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Bravo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
