Volleyball Recap: Valley Oaks CES Takes a Loss

Valley Oaks CES lost against Community Charter back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vanguards lost 3-0 to the Titans. The Vanguards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Valley Oaks CES ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-19.

Valley Oaks CES now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Community Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valley Oaks CES is set to face off against their familiar foe Bert Corona Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Community Charter will challenge rival Lakeview Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
