Volleyball Recap: Water Canyon Wins Going Away Against Wendover

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Water Canyon walked away with it. They put the hurt on Wendover with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. Water Canyon was shut out 3-0 the last time they took on Wendover, so Water Canyon was just returning the favor.

Water Canyon walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

The win made it two in a row for Water Canyon and bumps their season record up to 8-14. As for Wendover, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-24.

Coming up, Water Canyon will challenge Rich at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Wendover does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
