Basketball Recap: McCluer South-Berkeley Comes Up Short

McCluer South-Berkeley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Maplewood-Richmond Heights Blue Devils and fell 65-22. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Defeat or not, McCluer South-Berkeley got some senior leadership from Dylan Merkle and Kameron Stowers. Merkle posted ten points and eight rebounds, while Stowers put up five points. Merkle has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times he's played.

McCluer South-Berkeley's record is now 5-13. As for Maplewood-Richmond Heights, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
