Football Game Preview: Hot Springs Bison vs. St. Thomas More Cavaliers

Hot Springs hasn't had much luck against St. Thomas More recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bison will take on the Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m.

Hot Springs' offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against St. Thomas More two weeks ago. They were outmatched by the Cavaliers and fell 27-0. Having soared to a lofty 51 points in the game before, the Bison's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hot Springs didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Von Mogan Frankfort and Caleb Kleinsasser. Mogan Frankfort also made six total tackles, which is notable because Hot Springs is 3-1 when he posts at least three total tackles, but 1-3 otherwise.

The victory keeps St. Thomas More at an undefeated 8-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 43.0 points this season. As for Hot Springs, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-4.
