Basketball Recap: North Star Academy Comes Up Short

North Star Academy lost against Verona back in February of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. North Star Academy took a blow against the Verona Hillbillies, falling 56-17.

North Star Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Verona, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Star Academy will venture away from home to challenge Kearny at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Verona, they are taking a road trip to face off against East Side at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
