Victory Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2018.
Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Arianna Ritz, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ritz has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Denson, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Victory Christian dropped their record down to 7-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victory Christian will take on Southview Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Bethel Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Bethel Christian Academy is ranked 361st, while Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy is ranked 374th).
