Volleyball Recap: Dexter's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dexter entered their tilt with Saline on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Dreadnaughts have posted since October 4th.

Dexter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Nevaeh Streich paced Dexter's offense, picking up 17 kills. Streich got some help from Chloe Burns and her 28 assists.

Dexter's win bumped their record up to 33-5-2. As for Saline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Dexter and Saline will both be playing Bedford the next time they take the court. The Dreadnaughts will head out to face the Kicking Mules at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Hornets will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
