For the second straight game, Sierra will face off against Liberty. The Chieftains will welcome the Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Sierra is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Liberty will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Sierra extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Chieftains never let the Hawks get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

For Liberty's part, Anthony Gaitan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits.

On the hitting side, Liberty saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Groh, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double.

The loss snapped Liberty's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-14 record. As for Sierra, their victory bumped their record up to 20-6.
