Baseball Recap: Valley City Takes a Loss

Valley City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red River Roughriders. If the Hi-Liners were looking for revenge after losing 7-4 to the Roughriders when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valley City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leighton Hendrickson, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Valley City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Valley City is set to square off against their familiar foe Fargo Davies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Red River will take on rival Fargo North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
