Recap: Hampton Park Christian vs. Greenville Classical Academy Lions
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hampton Park Christian had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 70-54 victory over the Lions. The win was nothing new for Hampton Park Christian as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Hampton Park Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trevor Gearhart, who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists. Gearhart hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Seth Moeder, who scored 19 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Hampton Park Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Greenville Classical Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.
Hampton Park Christian will square off against Temple Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hampton Park Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Temple Christian Academy likes a good challenge. Greenville Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
