Baseball Recap: Barnesville Comes Up Short

Barnesville had lost five straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-7 to make it six. They lost 12-0 to the Perham Yellowjackets. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Yellowjackets when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Perham, their win bumped their record up to 14-1. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 12 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

For Perham's part, the team relied heavily on Bradyn Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Harry Poole, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

While Barnesville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
