Baseball Game Preview: Harding Presidents vs. Bassick Lions

Harding is on a nine-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Bassick a nine-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Harding Presidents will be playing at home against the Bassick Lions at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Harding came up short against Notre Dame Prep on Wednesday, falling 11-4.

Bassick couldn't beat Wolcott RVT on Wednesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fifth inning. The Lions lost 15-6 to the Wildcats.

Bassick's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Harding, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Harding might still be hurting after the 11-3 loss they got from Bassick in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Presidents avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
