Basketball Game Preview: Ipswich Tigers vs. Highmore/Harrold Pirates

The Ipswich Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Highmore/Harrold Pirates at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ipswich has six straight victories, Highmore/Harrold has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, Ipswich strolled past Herreid/Selby with points to spare, taking the game 48-29.

Meanwhile, Highmore/Harrold came up short against James Valley Christian on Tuesday and fell 53-42.

Highmore/Harrold's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Ipswich, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Ipswich came up short against Highmore/Harrold when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 39-31. Can Ipswich avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
