Basketball Recap: Central Skates Past Hernando Christian Academy with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lecanto, Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed by the Hernando Christian Academy Lions to the tune of 59-23. That looming 59-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bears yet this season.

Braydon Prospero was his usual excellent self, going 10 of 14 en route to 20 points along with five boards and five steals. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavior Hagele, who posted ten points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Despite the loss, Hernando Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Jaden Montzka, who put up 14 points.

Central now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
