North Cobb had won seven straight home games dating back to last season and Hannah Nicholson did her part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the North Paulding Wolfpack 3-2 for which the team can thank Nicholson, who had 31 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

North Cobb wouldn't go down easily and took North Paulding into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 21-25, 27-29, 17-15.

North Cobb's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for North Paulding, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Cobb will head out to square off against Buford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Paulding, they will venture away from home to challenge North Cobb Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
