Volleyball Recap: The Carmel School Find Success

The Carmel School won the last time they faced St. Michael the Archangel and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors.

The Carmel School walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 13-25, 25-21.

Mikaela Stroud was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight aces and one assist. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six contests. Kayla Barish also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

The Carmel School's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

The Carmel School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Grove Christian School on the 9th. As for St. Michael the Archangel, they will challenge Guardian Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
