Basketball Recap: Palmetto Takes a Loss

Palmetto has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 75-72 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dobyns-Bennett Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since February 10th.

Palmetto's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Dobyns-Bennett, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Palmetto will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Braden River at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Dobyns-Bennett, they will be taking part in a tournament against Montour at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
