Wake Forest and Enloe are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, Wake Forest came up short against Rolesville and fell 57-48. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Palmer Chase, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. Donovan Hunt was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Enloe was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 68-62 to Fuquay - Varina.

Wake Forest now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Enloe, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Wake Forest didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Enloe in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, but they still walked away with a 54-50 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
