Baseball Recap: Arab Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Arab had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They skirted past the Fairview Aggies 3-1. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 5-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Luke Hudson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Arab hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.

Arab's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Fairview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Arab will have a chance to go back-to-back against Fairview: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
