Monroeville was forced to take a big defeat against they on Monday, they got the better of them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crestview Cougars, sneaking past 8-7. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Cougars on Monday, they had to take a 11-3 loss.

Monroeville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Crestview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
