Basketball Recap: Medina Valley Takes a Loss

If Medina Valley was riding high fresh off their 101-47 takedown of Brackenridge last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Medina Valley Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 52-51 to the Churchill Chargers.

Medina Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Churchill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.

Medina Valley will face off against LEE at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Medina Valley is facing LEE at the right time seeing as LEE is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Churchill, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Madison at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
