Volleyball Recap: Pueblo Central Find Success

After losing to Limon the last time they met, Pueblo Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Badgers on Saturday.

Katie Purfield paced Pueblo Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Purfield got some help from Natalie Alfonso and her 40 assists. Adryanna Rodriguez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Limon lost, don't look at Chloe Stone. Despite the final result, she had nine digs.

Pueblo Central's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Limon, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Coming up, Pueblo Central will be playing at home against Pueblo East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Limon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Stratton on the 7th.
