Melbourne put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Cross County Thunderbirds 13-2. Considering the Bearkatz have won six matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Melbourne's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cross County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
