Trumbull won the last time they faced Bridgeport Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Trumbull Eagles enjoyed a cozy 47-33 victory over the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Loss or not, Bridgeport Central got some senior leadership from Kai Clarke and Mikayla Kendrick. Clarke almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards, while Kendrick posted four points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. The dominant performance gave Clarke a new career-high in boards.

The win got Trumbull back to even at 4-4. As for Bridgeport Central, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
