Baseball Recap: Rocky Mount Prep Comes Up Short

Rocky Mount Prep lost to North Edgecombe on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jaguars lost 23-12 to the Warriors.

Rocky Mount Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Edgecombe, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky Mount Prep will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wilson Prep Academy at 4:30 p.m. on April 14. As for North Edgecombe, they will face off against Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
