Baseball Game Preview: Faribault Falcons vs. John Marshall Rockets

Faribault hasn't had much luck against John Marshall recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons will be playing at home against the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. Faribault will be strutting in after a win while John Marshall will be coming in after a loss.

Faribault is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over Austin on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, John Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to Century.

John Marshall saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mark Muenkel, who went 2-for-4 with two runs. Nolan Wayne was another, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Faribault's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 2-12. As for John Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
