Softball Recap: White County Central Takes a Loss

White County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 18-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

White County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mt. Vernon-Enola, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-8-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warhawks beat White County Central by a score of 10-4 later that day.
