Basketball Recap: Brookstone Beats Lovett for Their Third Straight Victory + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Brookstone faced off against Lovett on Saturday. The Cougars enjoyed a cozy 38-23 win over the Lions. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on three straight.

It was another big night for Julie Anne Pyle, who posted 20 points. Those 20 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Zwickey, who earned seven points.

Lovett's loss came despite strong showings from Vaughan McKnight and Molly Rees. McKnight put up five points and five steals, while Rees scored two points along with six boards, five steals, and four blocks. Sofia Adamo also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Brookstone now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lovett, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.

Coming up, Brookstone will square off against Spencer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lovett, they will take on Carver at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
