Football Game Preview: Madison Trojans vs. University City Lions

The Madison Trojans will face off against the University City Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Madison took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 28-21 win over Argenta-Oreana. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Trojans were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University City). They blew past Clayton/Brentwood 57-0 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

University City's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Madison, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
