Basketball Recap: Algonac Comes Up Short

Algonac lost against Armada back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Algonac Muskrats had to suffer through a 63-6 loss at the hands of the Armada Tigers. The match marked the Muskrats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Algonac dropped their record down to 3-2 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Armada, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Algonac will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Cardinal Mooney Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Armada, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Romeo at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
