Football Recap: Young Men's Leadership Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Brady

Young Men's Leadership Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 60-0 loss at the hands of the Brady Bulldogs. Young Men's Leadership Academy lost against Brady in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 27-0 score last time.

Leading Brady to victory were Sean Jacoby and Ashton Taylor. Jacoby rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns, while Taylor rushed for 130 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing yards Taylor has posted since back in September of 2024. Ethan Bernal was in the mix as well, providing Brady with two scores.

Young Men's Leadership Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-7 loss against John F. Kennedy on the 5th. As for Brady, they have also already played their next contest, a 24-22 victory against Mason on the 5th.
