The Stevenson Pirates will challenge the Credo Gryphon at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stevenson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Stevenson saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They lost 15-7 to Templeton. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Hall made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jack Dalhammer, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Credo's offense. They came up short against Millikan on Tuesday, falling 27-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Gryphon were not able to get on the board.

Stevenson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Credo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-1 record this season.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Stevenson has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Credo struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
