Volleyball Recap: Ripon Christian Comes Up Short

Ripon Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Menlo-Atherton Bears.

Despite the defeat, Ripon Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ian Brown had seven digs and two assists.

Ripon Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Menlo-Atherton, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 20-5 record.

Ripon Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lowell on the 29th. As for Menlo-Atherton, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Carlmont at 5:45 p.m.
