Soccer Recap: Franklin Central vs. Morris Central
After flying high against Richfield Springs Central last Thursday, Franklin Central came back down to earth. The Franklin Central Purple Devils took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morris Central Mustangs on Monday. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Purple Devils couldn't quite close it out.

Alen Ibrahimovic scored both of Franklin Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.
Franklin Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Morris Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Franklin Central will head out on the road to square off against Greene at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Morris Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
