The Frankenmuth Eagles and the Powers Catholic Chargers will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Both are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Frankenmuth against Swan Valley as the team secured a 57-22 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 35 points or more this season.

Frankenmuth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grace Brenner led the charge by putting up nine points and four steals. Brenner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season. Lucy Conzelmann was another key player, posting seven points and four steals.
Meanwhile, Powers Catholic put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Utica to the tune of 74-15. The Chargers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Frankenmuth better keep an eye on Kendyl Smith. She was instrumental in Powers Catholic's win, going 13 of 17 on her way to 24 points along with five assists and five steals. With that strong performance, Smith is now averaging an impressive 16.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Ringwelski, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and five steals.
Powers Catholic was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Powers Catholic's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.4 points. As for Frankenmuth, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Frankenmuth and Powers Catholic are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Frankenmuth hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 58.8 points per game. However, it's not like Powers Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 65.2 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
