Volleyball Recap: Ponca Indians vs. Tri County Northeast Wolfpack

If Ponca was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Vermillion on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack on Thursday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Ponca ultimately came up short, they really made Tri County Northeast work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 17-25, 25-21, 28-26.

Coming up, Ponca will challenge O'Neill at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Indians are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Tri County Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
