Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Lockport's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lockport walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Fremd Vikings 2-1.

Lockport found their leader in sophomore Emma Consigny, who had 18 digs and three assists. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Consigny.

Lockport has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-8 record this season. As for Fremd, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 31-9.

As of now, neither Lockport nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
