Softball Recap: Glenville-Emmons Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Glenville-Emmons's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Cleveland Clippers on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Wolverines' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Glenville-Emmons has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Cleveland, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Glenville-Emmons wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-4 win against Schaeffer Academy on the 13th. As for Cleveland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-2 victory against St. Mary's on the 13th.
